International Engineering Sourcing Show (IESS) has become one of the signature shows in marketing ‚ÄėBrand India‚Äô across the world.

With the main objective to promote India‚Äôs image and provide a platform to Indian exporters to showcase their strengths and capabilities in an emerging market, EEPC India has been selected as the lead agency to organize the only sourcing show of our country ‚ÄúInternational Engineering Sourcing Show‚ÄĚ (IESS) since 2012.

To establish India as the destination of emerging market in the engineering sector there is a necessary to move up the value addition chain for high value precision engineering both for domestic production and exports.

Creating a platform like International Engineering Sourcing Show (IESS), EEPC India has given the opportunity for exporters of engineering product and services to build business contact with leading importers, buyers, dealers, distributors and wholesales of engineering product from America, Europe, Africa, Latin America, ASEAN, Australia, New Zealand and CIS Countries.

Another major object is to high light India as an ‚ÄėOutsourcing hub‚Äô for the engineering industry where a wide range of high-quality engineering items could be sourced at very competitive rates.

IESS, under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, with its unique concept also aims at reducing dependence on traditional markets, develop internal markets within India, forge partnerships and joint ventures, strengthen commercial relation and accelerate trade between India and its trading partners. It provides a platform for foreign companies to showcase their strength and capability in the large developing market.

India provides outsourced services in the areas of automotive design, aerospace design, construction, industrial machinery and products, semi-conductor work and much more. Developed economic such as US, the UK and Western European are currently facing a shortage of highly trained and specialized professionals in home knowledge-intensive, high skill sector, such as engineering design, IT, financial risk management etc.

India‚Äôs growing importance as an engineering sourcing destination is baked by recent studies that indicate the country‚Äôs potential. Research shows that the global market for engineering sourcing ‚Äď which encompasses design and Research and Development (R&D) is likely to increase from around US$150 billion in 2008 to US$200-220 billion by 2020.
